The Peace River Rotaract is proud to present our Poppy Project at the Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Peace River to acknowledge the Anniversary of the Poppy.

For the last 3 years on the week of November 6-11th, we honour our veterans and acknowledge the anniversary of the Poppy.

​

• Install Canadian Flags at each of the graves of our local veterans resting in the

  Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Peace River.

• Place a white cross adorned with a poppy at each grave of our local veterans

• Display Poppies on the fence as a gesture of remembrance and salutations for those that have served.

 

We invite & encourage the public to visit the cemetery to remember our local veterans who served with honour.
