Do you know Albert Elter? He is the long-time Manager at the Peace River Lions Campground and such a sweetheart!

On August 10th, 2021, we organized a work bee at the Lions Campground to honour Albert and his 27 years of volunteering in our hometown. We wanted to express our gratitude for his remarkable character, his pride, and his commitment. He is one of a kind and deserves appreciation and recognition!

Here's what we did:

 Trimmed the Trees and cleared the driveway

 Tended to the flower beds and mowed the green spaces

 Gave the office a fresh coat of paint

 Stained the trim on Albert's home

 Installed a "Good Morning Mary" Fairy Garden in memory of his beloved

We had over 60 volunteers come and show support for Albert and the Lions Campground! We are so thankful for all of the people that came to help as well as the local businesses that sponsored - We couldn’t have done it without them.
