To raise funds for our Tools2Teach Project, we needed to get creative with our ideas! With the help of the Peace River Rotary and their 1500 Rubber Ducks, we hosted the Rubber Duckie Raffle on a beautiful June afternoon. We invited all the local schools in the area for an afternoon BBQ and asked the Peace River Fire Truck to do the honours of dropping our winning ducks. They hoisted all the Rubber Duckies 30ft into the air and dropped them! The duck that landed closest to the pin, was the winner of $1,500.00!
